The Toughpad FZ-R1 is the first Windows® 8.1 tablet computer in the world to incorporate a Europay, MasterCard and Visa (EMV) reader for secure payments, specifically designed to accept most electronic payments. The magnetic stripe reader (MSR) has a scanning-time encryption system, while the integrated chip and PIN combined with signature technology not only allows for changing the payment card technology, but also increase the security of payments.
